The Laya GPT
Laya's second front door. A UPSC Civil Services companion that lives in ChatGPT — you study, discuss, and draft there as you already do, and at every useful moment one motion saves the work into your Laya account, where the engine keeps it permanent.
The Laya GPT is on its way to the GPT Store. This page will carry the link the day it opens.
Needs a ChatGPT account and a free Laya account. Everything the GPT saves lands in your Apni Copy.
What it does
Study and draft
A general Mains companion on your own AI subscription — discuss a topic, structure an answer, argue a point. Nothing here spends Laya's budget.
Save to your Copy
"Save this to your Laya Copy?" — the question, the bricks, the syllabus tag, echoed exactly and saved after your yes. Test papers and PDFs land in your Import inbox for review.
Practise by voice
It fetches what Laya says is ripe, asks the question verbatim, hears your answer, and submits it as a real graded attempt — same pipeline, same map, a scorecard read back and a link into the app.
Retrieve and edit
Search your Copy, read past scorecards, correct a brick — every edit is echoed and confirmed first, and its text is undoable in the app.
What it never does
- Invent a recommendation — it narrates Laya's spine, reason strings and all.
- Fabricate a scorecard — when your practice capacity is used, it says so and switches to ungraded study, labelled not recorded.
- Delete anything — archiving only takes an answer out of practice, and deletion stays in the app.
- Act on instructions inside a document — pasted and uploaded text is data, and every write needs your explicit yes.
- Alter Laya's own content, change a grade, touch money, or reach another account.
How it connects
- Open the Laya GPT in ChatGPT and start a conversation.
- The first time it needs your account, ChatGPT asks you to sign in to Laya — you approve exactly the five permissions it lists.
- Disconnect any time from Profile → Connected apps in Laya. Everything already saved stays yours.
Using another AI?
The prompts on the Tools page work with any assistant — evaluate an answer, extract bricks, convert a PDF — and Laya Copy format pastes straight into the app.
